The Nerf Fortnite SMG-E is based off of the Makeshift/Tactical Submachine Gun from Fortnite. That Fortnite SMG was actually based off of a real steel Tec-9 Machine pistol, but Nerf took it and turned it into another Nerf Stryfe re-shell. That's fine, I love Stryfe re-shells! Since it's basically a Nerf Stryfe, we can determine that it is a semi-automatic, mag fed, flywheel blaster that initially probably shot at around 70 feet per second.
It was a fine Nerf gun SMG to begin with, but this Etsy shop modder has taken it and given it a more tactical paintjob that actually suits its name. Then they ripped all the guts out and gave us a fresh re-wire, including upgraded motors and a new flywheel cage with upgraded flywheels. They even upgraded the microswitch to a 21 amp lever microswitch that can handle all the new power that will be surging through this beast. It's been wired for a 2S LiPo battery via an XT60 connector, so be forewarned - you'll have to buy your own LiPo battery!
There are many options for which LiPo battery to buy, you can do a search for a 2S LiPo battery, just make sure it has an XT60 connector! If you decide you don't want to be bothered, or just want to mod it yourself, you can check out the original stock Nerf gun here: NERF Fortnite SMG-E Blaster.
The M1887 Blaster is a lever-action Nerf gun w/shell-ejection designed to look and function like the Winchester Model 1887 shotgun, famous for being the most overpowered weapon to ever grace a Call of Duty title, back in Modern Warfare 2.
Coop772 is selling another Nerf gun on eBay and this time it's a custom painted Dart Zone Max Tomcat! This blaster is just an aesthetic mod, meaning Coop just threw on his signature sponge patterned paintjob and called it a day. Ends soon!
The Orange Armory SR200 Spring-Powered Blaster is a 3D printed pump-action blaster from Orange Mod Works that uses Worker's Talon Mags system for half-length darts. There's also a Tactical Kit that includes essential add-ons for the blaster.
Nerf has teamed up with Fortnite again and this time, they've gifted us a Nerf M16! The classic Fortnite assault rifle has finally made its debut as a Nerf gun, complete with the epic Insightful wrap ripped straight from from the game.
The Rekt OpFour CO2 Powered Foam Dart Launcher is an off-brand semi-auto Nerf gun that highly resembles an M4 carbine, both in shape and size. The OpFour is powered by double 12g CO2 cartridges, which are loaded into the buffer tube stock.
This 3rd party Nerf-inspired blaster is based on the good ol Nerf Modulus. Luckily, the Modulus is an excellent blaster. My experience with blasters like these has always been very positive. More powerful with less resistance.
Another insane blaster in the new X-Shot Insanity line of dart blasters from Zuru, the Mad Mega Barrel is a pump-action blaster with an obnoxiously huge 72 dart rotating drum that cycles through the blaster with each pump of the grip.
As one of the least insane of the new X-Shot Insanity series blasters, the bolt-action Berzerko still manages to come across as more than a little crazy, with an 8-dart rapid-fire cylinder and ammo holders galore- It's time to go berzerk!
If you show up on any spectrum, let it be the Dart Zone Spectrum. This motorized blaster is often referred to as the "Stryfe killer" and nearly lives up to the hype. If you don't plan on modding, the Spectrum is actually the better buy.
