The Nerf Elite Strongarm blaster is the successor to the old Nerf Maverick blaster. The Strongarm is one of the top selling Nerf blasters of all time, too. It's simple and easy to operate. It's small and pistol sized. It's fun to load and shoot the blaster. It comes in multiple colors. And the number one reason? The price. You can usually buy a Nerf Strongarm for around 15 bucks.
A few years back, Nerf thought they had to make a specific line of Nerf blasters just for the girls. Enter the Nerf Rebelle line of blasters. One of their showcase blasters was this "girlie Strongarm," the Nerf Rebelle Spylight blaster. It was smaller and smoother than the Strongarm and came with some neat attachments, but girls can use any blaster they want. Right?
Basically a "Double Strongarm," the Nerf FlipFury was inspired by the Nerf Modding community and their double and triple cylinder Nerf Strongarm mods. Modders have been pumping these out for years, but Nerf has finally made it official. This blaster has a second trigger under the main trigger that you have to pull to "flip" the cylinders, so make sure your hand is large enough.
Dubbed the "New Strongarm" by many in the Nerf Internet Community, the Nerf Disruptor is a neat little blaster. Sleek and slim where the Nerf Strongarm was a bit long and bulky, the Disruptor intrigued many who weren't instantly in love with the Strongarm. Both blasters share all the same features, which makes choosing the Nerf Disruptor completely up to which one you think looks best.
The Nerf Stryfe is one of the most versatile little blasters out there. It has a muzzle attachment point, a stock attachment point, one tactical rail on top and another under the barrel. Also, the Stryfe is the first battery operated blaster on the list. Hold down the acceleration trigger to spin up the flywheels, then fling foam as fast as you can pull the trigger.
If you'd like to skip the foam Nerf darts altogether and jump into one of Nerf's newer lines of blasters, Nerf Rival is where you want to be. The Nerf Rival line of blasters use Nerf Rival rounds instead of Nerf darts. The Fate is a small, single shot, breech loaded Nerf pistol, perfect for those new to the Nerf hobby or for those who consider themselves to be more "casual."
Forget moving from foam darts to foam balls. Want to leave the foam behind entirely? What about the new Nerf Pro Gelfire Mythic blaster ? It's a new full auto gel blaster from Nerf. It includes an 800 round hopper to load the gelfire rounds into your blaster and the best part is that they disintegrate on impact -- which leaves nothing to clean up when you're done!
The Nerf Hammershot blaster is one of the most fun Nerf blasters you can buy. You can finger-spin it, you can fan fire it if your timing is right, and you can dual wield these bad boys! If you get two of these Nerf pistols, you're basically turning yourself into a real life Nerf Cowboy. Yeehaw!
They say third time's a charm and they were right with the Nerf Modulus Recon MK III blaster. The Recon is better than it's ever been and better looking, too! This is a blaster built for someone who likes building onto blasters. The Recon MKIII can accept barrel attachments, extended magazines, new shoulder stocks, optics and more!
The Nerf Rival Kronos was instantly one of my favorite Nerf blasters as soon as it came out. It's just a blast to sit and tinker with it or play around with it at home by yourself. Like the Nerf Hammershot, you can spin it around pretty easily. Overall, the Nerf Rival Kronos is a great, accurate, really punchy pistol sized Nerf Rival blaster and it's one of my favorite Nerf pistols of all time.
Well there you have it. These are the Top Ten Nerf Blasters to consider buying as your very first Nerf Blaster. This list can be used to select a blaster for yourself or as a gift for a Nerfer you know. Take special note of the size of the Nerf blaster during the decision making process, as younger Nerfers usually do better with smaller blasters. The spring weight directly corelates with how hard it will be to prime the blaster and that can be a struggle for smaller hands in some cases. This really shouldn't be a problem with the battery operated blasters because they just use an acceleration or "rev" trigger to prime the blaster and then foam will be flung as fast as you can pull the trigger. Anyways, I hope you found this list useful and I hope it helps you pick out the perfect Nerf blaster gift! Nerf on!
