The XSHOT Pro Series Motorized Piston Pump is a major game-changer. It's the first commercially available AEB (automatic electric blaster) on brick and mortar store shelves, which is a major blow to NERF and Dart Zone. Why? It's an automatic springer with all the benefits of a fly-wheeler and none of the downsides! It's fully automatic, like must fly-wheel blasters, but with the accuracy and reliability that you usually only find with a springer blaster. The X-Shot Piston Pump is still spring powered at its core, but it uses gears and an electric motor to auto-prime and fire darts. The most notable example of this motorized direct plunger system was in the old Nerf N-Strike Stampede ECS blaster. Nerf has only released a few AEB blasters over the years and none of them are short-dart capable Pro Series blasters like the X-Shot Pro Piston Pump.
The X-Shot Pro Series Piston Pump AEB comes with the blaster itself (duh), which includes the main receiver, the metal barrel with a bearing scar barrel muzzle device (to increase speed, distance, and accuracy while reducing drag!) and a detachable and adjustable shoulder stock which also includes the blasters rechargeable battery. The X-Shot Piston Pump also includes a manual "reload puller" charging handle (epic!), adjustable tactical ABS sights, and of course the 15 round half-length dart magazine and 40 Air Pocket half-length darts. This is an amazing deal, because while this AEB tech is mostly superior in every way, the barrier to entry was usually a very steep pricing structure for third-party AEB's. X-Shot, as always, has offered a very affordable offering that everyone will be able to easy get their hands on! W!
